Our Purpose

True Commitment Extends Beyond the Banking Center

Making a difference for our customers starts with setting an example through our own actions. Each member of our Origin team brings their own personal experiences and interests to inform the service they provide. In return, we learn from our customers and use this new understanding to go out and improve the places we call home.

What Really Matters?

Contribution

We grant every Origin employee up to 20 hours of paid time off that they can spend volunteering for causes they feel passionate about.

Dedication

We seek out areas where we can make an additional impact through financial donations.

Service

From United Way to local Boys and Girls Clubs, the countless causes we’ve volunteered for reflect the equally diverse backgrounds of our employees.

Contributing to Something Bigger Than Ourselves

Each year, we grant every Origin employee up to 20 hours of paid time off that they can spend volunteering for causes they feel passionate about. We call it Project Enrich. Since its inception in 2013, our employees have served more than 18,000 hours, helping over 250 non-profit organizations in our local communities. By giving a little back, we gain so much in return.

True Commitment Extends Beyond the Banking Center

Making a difference for our customers starts with setting an example through our own actions. Each year, Origin’s Project Enrich program gives our employees up to 20 hours each to be taken during work hours for the purpose of volunteering at an organization of their choice in our communities. The service is not just a reflection of what we believe in, but also of where we come from.

Enriching Our Communities

“One of our core values is ‘individual and corporate commitment to our communities’. For Origin, this means more than fancy words that are written to impress our stakeholders. Much more. Each year, Origin’s Project Enrich program gives our employees up to 20 hours each to be taken during work hours for the purpose of volunteering at an organization of their choice in our communities. Food banks, after-school clubs, financial literacy groups, disaster clean-up projects, and poverty relief organizations are just a few of the community organizations that benefit from our employee’s physical efforts to help their local neighbors. This is all in addition to the annual monetary gifts from our employees given to these and other organizations. Enriching our communities is an organic overflow of the vibrant culture we enjoy as Origin employees.”

- Lonnie Scarborough, Executive Vice President, Chief Dream Manager & Talent Development Officer

Much More Than Money

From United Way to local Boys and Girls Clubs, the countless causes we’ve volunteered for reflect the equally diverse backgrounds of our employees. You’ll find us in schools, rescue missions and medical centers. The service is not just a reflection of what we believe in, but also of where we come from.

Our Culture

Giving Back

To further back all of our volunteer work, we seek out areas where we can make an additional impact through financial donations. Our "Bank on Their Future" program was created to help provide support to local schools and thereby invest in our community's future. One day, some of those students will be leaders.
