Dream Manager Program

Along with our core purpose to enrich the lives of people in our community, we endeavor to enrich the lives of our employees.

The Dream Manager Program at Origin Bank focuses on one thing: our team. Our bank’s core purpose is to enrich the lives of the people in our community — and that community includes our employees. The Dream Manager Program is about helping our employees become “the best versions of themselves,” this is how Matthew Kelly describes it in his book, The Dream Manager. We help employees identify their dreams, develop an action plan to achieve those dreams, and provide tools, encouragement and support needed to make those dreams a reality.

“The Dream Manager Program has had a major impact on the culture and performance of our organization. The employees who have participated have an increased passion for the work they do each day and that passion has been contagious throughout our company.”

- Drake Mills, Chairman, President & CEO of Origin Bancorp

“Have you ever said 'I need to do this or I need to do that'? Everyone has, of course. What matters most when that statement is made is the level of impact the action would produce if accomplished. There are things in our lives that we keep putting off that should be addressed now, not later. The Dream Manager program helps you determine what those impactful things are (dreams and goals) and it gives you an accountability partner to help stay focused on them. Along the way, the program guides you on a 12-month journey to become a 'better version of yourself'. You will learn concepts such as “who you are becoming is much more important than what you have or what you do” and how success should be defined so much differently than you may think.  Each month, you and the Dream Manager talk about how you are doing in the areas of physical and emotional health, intellectual advancement, and spiritual development. These conversations are guarded by a confidentiality statement that is signed at the first session. If you have the desire to become a better employee, spouse, parent, partner, or friend then you will want to be a Dream Manager participant. Call me for more information.”
