The Redeemer's School

Larry: The best part of coming to this school is talking with the kids and get those questions from your third graders that maybe stumped us a little bit.

DeSean: Debit cards, they're asking how those work.

Larry: How do you get that money into that debit card? What's a chip?

DeSean: The Redeemer School is an urban Christian school with the desire to impact children, not only for today but for their futures. Dropping in and talking to a class, those are things that cultivate relationships. The people at Origin know our hearts.

They know how significant it is to us to have the model that our parents don't have the financial barrier of not being able to go to school.

Larry: As a part of our outreach program to the Redeemer School, we'll make a contribution every year for a class.

DeSean: That's really helpful in terms of taking it out of just a business conversation and making it an actual partnership.

Larry: It's kind of near and dear to all of our hearts. Kristie and several of our other associates come here and read every month.

Kristie: It's very uplifting when we come. The kids are glad to see us. We're glad to see them.

Kristie: It's just...it's beautiful to see these kids being developed, and you just wonder what they will become because of everything that's being poured into them by the school and by the small thing that we do as well.

DeSean: It's really significant to us when people take ownership of our mission and become ambassadors and advocates themselves.

Kristie: We see that we are making a positive impact on these children individually, these teachers, and the Redeemer School as a whole. During teacher appreciation week, we usually bring breakfast over here just to, you know, kind of uplift the teachers.

DeSean: Sometimes a sausage biscuit is the most caring thing you can do for a teacher at 8:00 in the morning.
