HOUSTON -- Origin Bank has announced that Melissa Kelly has joined the company as a senior mortgage loan officer for the bank’s home lending division.

In her position at Origin she will be responsible for building new relationships for the bank’s home lending division and will continue her focus on construction lending.
“We are very pleased to have Melissa join the Origin Bank team,” said Russ Chase, the bank’s Executive Vice President and Chief Community Banking Officer. “Melissa has three decades of mortgage experience, and her One-Time Close expertise will be a definite asset to the bank as we continue to grow our mortgage presence in the Houston area.”
Kelly has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and international business from the University of Texas at Austin. She has been married to Pat Kelly for 30 years and has two adult sons. She will maintain an office at Origin’s Memorial City Financial Center at 9805 Katy Freeway in Houston.
