Origin Bank Welcomes Klein, Merritt and Reily to Dallas Team

Origin Bank today announced it has hired three banking professionals to join its team in North Texas. The addition of John Klein, Caroline Merritt and Mark H. Reily further strengthens Origin's ability to deliver excellent service, build relationships and meet the ever-changing financial needs of its customers.

John Klein joins Origin as a Relationship Manager at Origin’s Preston Financial Center in Dallas. Klein has more than 21 years of experience in banking, specializing in real estate, middle market and small business lending. In his role, he will develop and manage commercial banking relationships, helping clients with financial solutions that support their businesses while also contributing to the Origin team as a resource and mentor. Klein earned a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University of Texas. He is an active member of the Church of the Incarnation, where he serves on its Foundation Board of Directors. He and his wife Emily share two children, John and Martin.

Caroline Merritt serves as a Commercial Portfolio Manager II at Origin’s Dallas Financial Center in Dallas. She brings more than five years of experience in the financial industry to her role, specializing in middle market commercial and industrial lending. At Origin, Merritt will assist team members with managing and growing commercial portfolios through credit analysis, risk management, client support and personalized consultative services. A certified public accountant, she earned a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Mississippi. She is an active member of the Cary Council non-profit organization as well as the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Mark H. Reily is a Regional Credit Officer at Origin’s Dallas Financial Center in Dallas. He has more than 46 years of banking industry experience specializing in working with high net worth individuals and families, producing and managing financial portfolios, and evaluating credit risks for customers. At Origin, he will provide personalized credit risk analysis for high net worth individuals, cultivating relationships to identify loan options that best suit customer needs. He and his wife Jane share four children and two grandchildren.
