Security Alert - Fraudulent Text Messages

Your account security is of the utmost importance to us. So please be aware that we have had several reports of customers receiving fraudulent text messages notifying them that their debit card has been locked. The text message contains the customer’s name and the last 4 digits of the card number. It instructs the customer to call an 800 number to have the card unlocked. When the number is called, they ask for the last 4 digits of the card number and the PIN number. This is a phishing attempt to gain access to account information.

Please do not call this 800 number or give out any personal and confidential information. Origin Bank will never ask you for account information in this manner. If you receive this text message, please contact our Customer Service Representatives at 888-292-4037.

Please sign up for our Debit Alerts service to receive notifications of account activity, which is free with any Origin Bank checking account.
