It’s About More

Than Making Paper

In 1998, when Roy Rodriguez graduated college, he and his father started Intercon Paper. Roy was always interested in business and had been looking for the right opportunity to combine his experience in manufacturing, production and logistics. Intercon Paper now employs over 80 people in Dallas and Atlanta and is the largest paper converter in the Southeast.

A growing operation needs an agile partner and Roy found that in Origin Banker Gerardo Garza. “Whenever I need something, they get it done quickly. They’re quick to react and take care of us,” Roy says.

Dedicated
to Service

When Gerardo and Roy met, they immediately realized how much the company cultures at Origin Bank and Intercon Paper had in common. “I saw upper management fully engaged in the business like we are at Origin,” Gerardo says. “Roy really goes the extra mile for his customers,” he adds.

We’re seeing them growing and entering different markets. We want to be that financial partner so they can continue expanding.
